I’m hiding from 750 words by writing this here on Medium. What is this place anyway? It’s not a blog they say. Maybe it’s a network? But blogs were a network too back in 2004 when I started my first one. Then I could write something on Blogdrive. Anyone remember that platform? Anyway I’d mention some post by some professor I’d read and next thing I knew he was leaving me a comment. Or some woman who was my lover’s long lost ex would turn up in my blog comments and we’d end up discussing what web2.0 might actually mean. Blogging was that small. Flickr too once upon a time.
