Gardaland: A Northern Italy Respite from Too Much Art and Culture
Life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs. But it’s your choice to scream or enjoy the ride.
Why Gardaland?
The date was October 2006, the place — Northern Italy.
We have wined, dined, hiked, explored, and soaked up every bit of history, culture, gentility, and Renaissance art our brain cells can possibly absorb.
It’s time to break out into the silly dance and delve headlong into Gardaland at Garda Lake, Italy.
Gardaland — like Disneyland, but with better background scenery. This 64-acre theme park is just south of the lake of the same name.
Allow Me to Briefly Tell You About Garda Lake
Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy. A popular holiday destination, this Ice-Age-formed alpine lake is located about halfway between Venice and Milan. Its clear blue waters are matchless, the shores are surrounded by olive and lemon tree groves, oleanders, and oranges. Garda’s seamless meld of vintage villages and modern metropolitan areas has inspired poets and painters alike.
