I Was Ugly As A Kid And Then This Is What Happened…
James Altucher

I can so relate to this. I was known in my family as my mother’s ugly child, and adult family members were my first bullies. For me it continued into adulthood, and at age 67, as still get “damn, you’re ugly” comments and smerks from strangers. While it’s true you are no longer that kid in school, the negative conditioning over years can create a mindset that lasts a life time. Just once, I’d love to hear a reference to my personal values or how I chose to treat others. People can be very cruel.
