Greeting all, I am a proud Aboriginal women form the central coast,I have two beautiful boys and two beautiful grandsons. As a young women growing up in the 60s educational was looked at by most in my comunity as something that others done.My school was very fracted and my responsibilities to family was more relevant at the time. I had to leave school at the end of year 8 to fill the shoes of my grandmother whom we had lost. Leaving school came with mixed emotions I loved learning yet my family needed me so the choice was made.As a Young adult i found myself thirsty for knowledge I enroled in so many different courses Nwhich in turn lead me to where i am today.I have successfuly finshed a degree in Adult Education through UTS in Sydney being the first in my family to obtain such Education. This inspired many of my own nieces and nephew to proceed in their own educational jounery. So today i merge forward to quinch that thirst, and inspire those like myself and spreed the knowledge of the power and wounder of education.
