A user experience designer’s journey of publishing a post on Medium

It took me hours to create my first post on Medium. Not because it is too complicated, but because it is delicately simplified to a point where I had to stop and ponder upon all the tiny details of the design. Agreed?

Here are several examples:

1. Convenient text style editing box on highlighting.
2. Never again do we have to be “constrained” by the ridged boxes.
3. Share to friends in draft mode. This allows peer collaboration and confirmation for better quality.
