Remember — there are two sides to every story, Tim. I have never been so surprised to be hit in the face with “ageism”. It never occurred to me that I would be made to feel like “I am too old” to be included.

Until we recognize and address the “spirit of polarization” that seems so heavy in our nation, I don’t believe “remembering” or anything similar will change us.

Selfishness has a lot to do with it, too — “What about me?” seems to be the number one issue I hear about various problems.

Just saying… Because I’m not “afraid” of young people. But like most kids of most eras, it doesn’t seem that they really want “old fogies” around to “spoil their fun”…
