It creeps. Looming in the distance at first, slowly enveloping everything in its bitter expanse. I can watch for hours as it turns and rolls and grows. It seeks not to embrace, but to consume.

Scattered and deep; profound. The breath of losing, like someone walking out a slamming door. Left alone as the darkness takes hold. Vision blurs as eyes well.
