What about the idea of a chat popup window that directly connects them to one of these hotline organizations? If the end user replies to the chat there would have to be a very short, almost automatic response time though. But if the response time isn’t quick enough there could be a flow similar to what you presented here with some inspiring quotes and stories but letting them know that someone who can relate to them and give them support is going to respond shortly.
