We Are Spending More Money Than Ever On Rent
Nicole Dieker

This article feels very timely today. I just got my rent increase for next year — $45/month (negotiated down from $60). That’s a $70 increase over two years. And I’m “lucky” — looking at smaller studios down the block from me, they’re asking for $150 more than I pay now!

…and now I watch my side hustles creep even further from “money to save!” to “money I need to keep my head above water.”
