I enjoyed the wit of this piece. It’s a subject seldom addressed.

Maybe fashion really should be (& remain) a form of an individual’s expression, and left there; whether they process style or not.

Perhaps, we, as a society, tend to judge one’s appearance too much and place too little importance on their value.

I say this as someone who was voted “Best Dressed” way back in high school; who has always possessed a certain ‘funky-funky swag and a funky style’ (a rap lyric) and has spent most of my life being judged on my appearance, instead what I can contribute to an enterprise, or the content of my interior.

Clothes are just our drag. Our souls matter most. Or at least, they should.

Hmmm… just perhaps we’ve set our bars too.

Meanwhile, I say, let your freak flag fly!
