Travel

Travel is going somewhere with an intention. This intention may be for a social gathering such as a reunion or a convention. The intention may be to just get out of you city or state and go on an adventure. One may also travel to relax and escape the daily grind for a period of time. Finally one may travel to learn something.

Travel can be used as a political act and also social good. This is seen in Rick Steves’ book. Based on what we have read so far we have been educated about foreign traditions and countries as a whole. Travel can this can either prove or bust preconceptions. This can be used for social good by educating a person on the struggles or foreign countries and they may feel inspired to asist with these problems whether fiscally or through volunteer work.
