Making one of the most core functions of blockchain technology, RPCs, more decentralised is a huge win for the whole of crypto. With DIN taking its first steps towards decentralisation, we are thrilled to announce Liquify is part of this major next step.

A quick recap on DIN

The Decentralised Infrastructure Network (DIN) is here to revolutionise the Web3 space, offering a game-changing decentralised RPC-as-a-service with the contribution of Infura and 50+ other DIN Providers. Think of it as turbocharging the accessibility, reliability, and efficiency of the blockchain world for devs everywhere. DIN isn’t just another project; it’s a massive leap toward a decentralised internet backbone.

With the roll-out of DIN, Infura is leading the charge into a new era of blockchain, where joining forces is the name of the game. The well anticipated kick-off saw an elite group of partners coming together, signalling the start of something big. This launch has plans for further expansion and the addition of new features such as failover protection on Arbitrum. This feature allows users to shift RPC traffic among partners to maintain service continuity during outages, enhancing the network’s reliability and performance.

Why does Liquify participate in DIN?

During these last years, Liquify has positioned itself as one of the most reliable and decentralisation aligned infrastructure providers within the crypto ecosystem. At its foundation, Liquify owns its own bare metal servers, ensuring reliable uptime of 99.95% by SLA, and generally scoring way higher. Liquify’s mission is to provide more alternatives to cloud based services, in order to mitigate systemic risks within blockchain.

As a part of this mission, we participate in multiple decentralised RPC networks, among which, some in turn are also part of DIN.

Hi POKT! Hi dRPC!

Having these protocols participate highlights the power of collaboration towards a more open and transparent infrastructure of the future Web3 world we are all working towards.

What Liquify’s role will be within DIN

As a RPC (Remote Procedure Call) partner, Liquify enables developers to interact with blockchain networks more efficiently and reliably. This entails providing developers with the necessary tools and infrastructure to deploy and manage their decentralised applications, allowing innovation and growth within the Web3 space.

For DIN, Liquify will initially contribute by managing fallback traffic. This role is crucial for maintaining service continuity even when part of the network experiences an outage. By dynamically rerouting traffic to ensure uninterrupted access, Liquify, and other RPC partners, will enhance the reliability and performance of the DIN ecosystem.

Future Steps

Looking ahead, Liquify is dedicated to scaling its services within DIN to become an integral part of a fully decentralised ecosystem. Moving further than fallback to help fulfil the full DIN promise. This ambition aligns with our long-term vision of a Web3 world where decentralised services not only compete with but surpass their centralised counterparts in terms of accessibility, efficiency, and security.
