There is something to be said for that. Someone recently told me that at some point everyday we should walk barefoot, either on the sand of a beach, the grass or on rocks as we need to re-connect to the energy of the earth.
We can’t do that wearing shoes. I think sleeping on the ground would have the same effect. After all, our ancestors would have no other choice than to sleep and walk that way. Interesting experiment!
