I was actually surprised when I got my first job offer through LocalSolo, but it turned into a good job, and I appreciate that you are working to build something pretty awesome here. My first thought is that the problem doesn’t seem to be the people or the platform, but rather the lack of buzz. Is this something you can mine the current LocalSolo talent base for? Rather than putting more money into it, or asking freelancers to shell out, see who/how many are willing to get the word out about LocalSolo. If the site gets really successful, that can only benefit the current users. Another thought is some targeted ads in big markets, such as NY, LA, or DC (my market!) that seek to build the employer base and generate more business. Either way the wind blows, thanks for building this platform.
