Ok, last comment: how could I possibly criticize their feelings or internal processes? I don’t know them. What we do know is the resulting behavior, and that’s what matters when judging what is appropriate in a work setting. For example, employees need to moderate their word choice in the office. They may think or want to express a slur or “bad” word about their boss, but they know (usually) that it’s totally inappropriate to actually say it.
