Sync iOS 9’s Notes with the Gmail Account with ease!

Did you know you can sync the iPhone or iPad notes with the Gmail account? You can do the same by adding your email account to the Notes app, and use any notes added to the account on your iOS device. The process is quite easy; at first, you need to add your account to the iOS device if you don’t have already. However, if you don’t know how to go through all settings, you can either follow-up the on-screen prompts or call at the Gmail support number to know the step-by-step guidelines to add the email account.

Have a look at the steps:

1. At first, touch the ‘Settings’ icon on the ‘Home’ screen, and then tap the ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’ icon, subsequently.

2. Touch the account icon for which you wish to activate Notes. If you have personal Gmail account, you see that the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars are activated, but not the Notes.

3. In the screen of selected account lists items that are also synced with the same account, touch the ‘Notes’ slider button. Once it is enabled, it turns into the green indicator.

4. Now, return to the ‘Home’ screen and touch the ‘Notes’ icon to launch the app.

5. At this point, you will find a section of your email account. The notes produced in the account will sync with your email account and be accessed by signing into the account in a browser on the PC or in the Gmail app on the iOS device.

6. In order to make a note that will be synced with your email account, touch ‘Notes’ icon in the email account name in the Notes app. However, you cannot make your own folders in the app; you can just add notes to the default folder.

7. Touch the new note button under the screen’s bottom-right corner. Now, make your note and then touch the ‘Notes’ back link under the screen’s upper-left corner.

8. In the next screen, list the notes in your email account, and touch the back arrow in the screen’s upper-left corner. Multiple notes in your email account seem to the Notes folder right side.

9. Now, sign into your Gmail account on your system. Locate the Notes label you have added into the account sidebar, and any other notes you have inserted to the email account in the Notes app on your device exist in this label.

10. Subsequently, hit the ‘Notes’ label to see all the notes you have made in your email account under the Notes app. Notes you have added will appear in the list under the label. Hit on it to see the entire notes.

Remember that this is a one-way sync process, and you can edit the notes in the account under the app on your iOS device, but not in your email account, here you can only see them. If you remove notes in the Notes label under email account, they will also be removed from the device.

Equally, if you remove a note in your Gmail account under the Notes app, the note will be removed from your account. The note deletion may not happen instantly, you need to hit the ‘Refresh’ icon beyond the notes list in the Notes label, and the notes you have removed on the device will not have in your email account for a long time.

If you disable Notes in your email account on the device, just delete them from the device under the Notes app. But they still remain in your email account, thus you can enable them again and sync back to your iOS device if you have needed.

This is the much useful method in order to get access to your notes to your computer with the Gmail account. Still, if you have any inconsistency about the account synchronization or you have other kinds of issues related to your email account as the Gmail password recovery, just call at the Gmail help phone number for availing a quick and faster solution.
