Dog saves owner from alligator (story)

John Smith was enjoying the feeling of water washing over his skin as he swam back to shore. it was hot outside, even at 7 in the morning. In the corner of his eye he saw Hank jump in to the water, probably the golden retriever got overheated sitting on the BU beach under the sun all morning and decided to cool down in the water. Smith got out on to the grass and dried himself off with a towel. He turned his head to the river and felt his heart skip a beat. Hank was wallowing around in the water, sending red drops flying in all directions, his leg was caught in a jaw of a massive alligator no less that 15 feet long. Its powerful tail splashing at the surface making loud thumping noises. After a final blow it shoved Hank away, making the dog wail in pain, turning its scaly body around the wild animal disappeared under the water.

Smith watched his dog swim back to shore, wildly paddling with its front legs, unable to do anything else because of the bleeding wound. The man helped hank out of the water and laid him down on the grass. Not wasting any time he called 911. A few minutes later Hank was being treated by a team of professionals, and in a few more he was on his way to the emergency room in order to get his leg stitched up.

John smith was shocked and when asked about the indecent said: “ “He is my best friend, and I’m never going swimming without him.”
