I write deeply enjoy writing about my life, my travels, and my work in geography education.
I am an Assistant Professor of Geography and Social Science Education. I love teaching and mainly research geography education, emphasizing geospatial skills and teaching climate change, but I am always open to a good opportunity outside of my specialty. Creativity and reality drive my educational philosophy. When not teaching, reading, writing, or drinking coffee, I am daydreaming, off on an adventure, doing yoga, or playing with my fur babies. I have loved writing for as long as I can remember and have really indulged myself in it in the last few years. Journaling. Writing a textbook for World Geography. Short stories. Book chapters.
