Norman: A Doggie Diet

Norman is a rescue. He was abandoned in a park on the Jersey Shore. Norman’s a sweet, happy, West Highland terrier and is eight years old. He was a little skittish and anxious when we brought him home, but his biggest challenge is his weight. A “Westie” adult is a small but sturdy breed and normally reaches 20 lbs. Norman weighs 34 lbs. He also has a lame left leg that the veterinarian and caretakers at the shelter say obesity has a lot to do with. Our plan is to get him back to his fighting weight and chronicle his journey during the process. So welcome to Norman: A Doggie Diet.
