It’s funny that you wrote about the cadence of the rain today, Paul!

For one thing, the name “Cadence” came up with my nieces this past weekend, as a possibility for their future children. (Lol!)

Also, as it rained earlier this week and I sat in my office writing, I stopped for a few moments and listened appreciatively to the sound of the rain, thinking just how comforting that sound is.

I’m glad you had the experience of remembering that youthful joy of playing in the rain!
