This more or less describes *all* terrorists and other authoritarian personalities. They’re typically alienated, scared man-children who gravitate to the opportunity to make exaggerated displays of “strength” and to find the comradery of being part of a larger, bonded group. Thoughout this piece, there seems to be a barely-concealed admiration for the Fascists of the 1930s and 40s, who were apparently of “better” quality than our modern variety.
