Assessment 1A: Photography

Ed Ruscha started his artwork Twentysix Gasoline stations to show out his journey when he drive through Route 66. His idea is find out the common things we could find in the city and take a photo collection for them. The idea is showing out 2 sides of the buildings in the photo and changing the photo into black-and-white. In this way we can point out the importance and main focus in the photo.I used his idea in how I see the city by showing the normal things we may use it everyday in the city and the main focus is the bus-station in the mid-night.
I am living in the city and going trough George St. everyday. The most common things I can find is the bus station. Over hundreds of people using these bus stations everyday to get in and leave the city. I compared four stations which are 2 stations in George Street and 2 stations in Pitt Street. Each of them have different ad and not too much people in it. I realized that most of times people take buses after work and not too much people in bus stations in the midnight. I think walking around our living area to find some routine and helping our society greatly is important as a architectural structure.
