Advertising for Adult Niches: Promoting Escort Services, Webcam, etc. Attracting Webcam Models for $23 per Registration
This article is for those who want to effectively promote their business in the 18+ niche without censorship and with high profitability. It is especially relevant for owners of online WEBCAM STUDIOS.
My name is Elizaveta, and my team is prepared to promote ANY project in the 18+ sector, whether it be webcam, escort services, gambling, or any other niche that has problems with moderation (e.g., plastic surgery, collectible weapons, etc.).
Today, I will share a FRESH CASE OF ATTRACTING WEBCAM MODELS for an online studio using traffic from Instagram and Facebook!
IMPORTANT: In my articles, I discuss the promotion of businesses that do not violate the laws of the countries they operate in and do not encourage anything illegal!
So, today I will describe the case of an online studio we are working with right now, let’s go!
About the Client
Our client is a new webcam studio that works with models online. There are no geographical restrictions, the main limitation is a Russian-speaking recruiter, so it was important to attract models who speak Russian. There are no strict requirements for the models; the main thing is to have a good camera on their computer or smartphone.
What We Did
Since we needed Russian-speaking models, the optimal geographical areas were the CIS countries, but we decided to start with Ukraine. With proper ad setup, this region provides the cheapest yet high-quality traffic for models.
The question remains — where to direct the traffic?
We had several options:
- Lead form
- Mini-landing page
- Telegram bot
- Telegram private messages
All these landing options had worked well for other studios but had their drawbacks. For example, lead forms and private messages provided the coldest leads, which put a high load on the recruiter. The mini-landing required longer preparation and additional costs. The optimal option for a long time was a Telegram bot, as it filtered the quality of applications, pre-warmed the leads before the recruiter’s dialogue, and kept the contact base (later, those who didn’t immediately decide to start working or even pass the interview could be extracted from this base).
Initially, we chose the Telegram bot, but then we remembered that in recent months we had been testing bots in Instagram Direct, which gave good results and were not blocked by Facebook/Instagram moderation (which is extremely important!).
We decided to test and compare two landing options: the Telegram bot and the Instagram Direct bot.
I’ll say in advance that the Instagram bot required more effort from us because we needed to properly package the Instagram account since more than half of the girls from the ad went to the page first before writing the code word in Direct.
We also paid a lot of attention to the bot itself, as it had to filter the traffic and pre-warm the leads! Accordingly, the entire message chain in it was written according to all the rules of selling texts and based on a large survey of existing webcam models from various studios.
In short, the bot conducted a preliminary interview and answered additional questions from the girls, and only after their agreement to try the job, transferred them to the recruiter!
What about the Ads?
The ads contained a direct call to work in a webcam studio. Direct offers, without trying to “mask” the words, are very important because they:
- Filter incoming traffic
- Attract reactions and clicks only from those who are not afraid of the prospect of such work, allowing Facebook to better adjust machine learning and show our ads to the most suitable audience at the lowest price!
“Doesn’t moderation ban ads for webcam work?” — Yes, it does! But we have ways to bypass moderation, so it’s not a problem for us. We can pass even the most “explicit” creatives.
On this platform, where I am writing, the situation is different; here I won’t argue with the rules, so as examples, I’m attaching the most harmless creatives:
The image and text quality are worse because it’s an automatic translation of the original ad creative we used.
What Results Did We Achieve?
The ads were launched a week ago, and here’s what we got in 7 days, spending just under $270 on advertising:
134 bot launches on Instagram + 5 on Telegram, of which 63 girls went through the bot and contacted the recruiter, 10 registered and are ready to start working (but not all of them have passed verification yet).
IMPORTANT TO NOTE — all these models came specifically from Instagram, so now we are leaving only the Instagram bot and will actively improve it!
For testing traffic on the Telegram bot, $40 was spent, so the result of the first week of working with the Instagram bot is that we spent ≈ $230 and got 10 models ready to start working!
What’s more important — the first week usually gives the most expensive results, and the cost will decrease further.
What About the Downsides?
Although the situation is close to ideal, one downside emerged, and it would be unfair not to mention it. This downside is the poor quality of phone cameras for many girls.
Usually, this problem is solved by increasing the amount of traffic, BUT to reduce the load on the recruiter, we will narrow the audience and target only those who use Instagram on iPhones and the latest Android models!
