I’m in the UK and I was reading the other day about teachers in the US not being able to make ends meet. I think it’s a disgrace: if teaching is anything like here you never stop working and to have to make ends meet by working summers as a bike courier is terrible. That said, you write really well so why not try to sell your writing as a series of articles, taking one unusual job every holiday?
