Thank you — and along those lines, Trotsky makes a point in the book referenced to say that America was supporting whoever was losing in WWI, so they would fight each other for longer, with more devastating consequence so we could a) profit from the sale of arms to both sides and b) have a stronger comparative economy when it was over after other nations destroyed one another.
