When my daughter was 18 (but looked about 14) she took care of a baby who was having failure to thrive due to neglect. For months she held him almost every waking moment, and miraculously won him back to trust in humans again. But whenever she was out and about with him, she got dirty looks, snide comments, and tsks of righteous indignation from those who assumed that this was her child. How is that pro-life?
