Thanks JG. Regarding your Jumped the Shark article: it sounds like you’ve been on Medium since its launch and have personally observed disturbing trends in how it works. I’m sure you’re right, so what I’m about to say is not intended to invalidate your perspective. But as a relative newcomer to the platform, I actually like that it features content from “real” publications like the Washington Post, and “real” writers/teachers like Pema Chodron. When our (or maybe I should just say my) content sits alongside theirs, all the content seems equally worthy/“real.” At least it seems that way to me, when I share links to my pieces and friends say, “Wow, it’s on Medium!” :-)
