LEVERAGING YOUR INNATE ABILITY

To be emphatic, everyone has innate ability! An innate ability is the inborn endowment which distinguishes you from others. However, it's quite unfortunate that many are ignorant of their endowments!

A witty saying states, " An ignorant man who is ignorant of his ignorance is the head of the ignoramus." Many are in the wrong professions because of the ignorance of their inborn gifts. Or may be they don't believe in themselves.

To buttress my points, l would like to compare some things. Let's look at the shark and the lion. Both of them are kings in the animal kingdoms. But if we were to swap them, that is putting the lion in the sea and the shark on the land. Without any iota of doubt, both animals would meet their waterloos!

Also, when we juxtapose salt and sugar, they are both white. However, they have their pros and cons! Imagine if you were to put sugar in the soup and salt in the tea. People would not patronize your business! Of course they are both valuable but they are different in usage. Know your territory!

Let me conclude with the story of a student I read about. His father wanted him to be a Medical Doctor but his interest is in Journalism. What a contrast! He actually went for the Medicine and Surgery. But he was failing repeatedly. Eventually, he had to quit!

He later went to study Mass Communication and came out with first class degree. To be factual, no one can know you better than you know yourself! Look inwards, wake up those sleeping gifts in you and bless the world with the innate ability. Remember, "The you in you makes the you out of you!"
