Travel Logs: Me and traveling..

When I was younger, I’ve always pictured myself going to different places. Moreover, I picture myself going to different countries and enjoying different cultures and beautiful sceneries. It is my dream and it is still now.

Thank God I was blessed with a family who loves to do drive-alongs and road trips together. This nurtured my love for travel. When I was six, my dad would book an official business trip for his company and bring us with him. Though most of it are trips by land, I started to appreciate the beauty of getting in a car, sit there for hours and hours and watch the busy roads and people we pass through. At the same time, dad makes sure that we enjoy the family trip that even when we get home we’d talk about the stories we had that day or two (or longer) to our friends and other family. He also introduced us to the perspective that we should always try something new, that we would never be content of just what’s in front of us but discover more and experience fun and adventures ourselves. It worked out for me, very much!

When I started growing up, me and my cousins developed that love for nature and beautiful places. We started to learn how to drive motorcycles (we even had our own) and drove to bond somewhere we’ve never been to. Taking photos and posting it over social media soon started to become a trend and seriously it became a more reason for us to go out and search for places that’s new and exciting for us.

Years passed and now we are driving cars. Almost all of us too, are going in and out of the country for trips and vacations. I’ve started to drive off long trips ( Ilocos area recently) and enjoyed them. Tiring yet fulfilling and so worth it. I’m even more blessed because my line of part-time job involves traveling.

Although up to now, I still can say that I have that enough good experiences in traveling, I bet I have stories to tell to you. Everyone does.
