I think we run in different circles. If, open meeting, someone waxes philosophical about their own creativity or self-describes as an “artist” or “writer” without any credits to their name… Well, it’s a pretty good sign they’re all bluster. It’s like seeing a blog where the biography claims the author is “fascinated by the universe”: hollow, self-aggrandizing.
