Thank you for your excellent comments and book recommendations. I 100% agree with those quotes and your critiques about Sanders. He is not a perfect candidate, but my view is that this election is less about Sanders the person, and more about the anti-establishment force that’s animating both Bernie’s and, yes, Trump’s campaigns.

Electing Bernie won’t fix all or even most of our political problems but it presents an opening for a fundamental change to the system, or at the very least a kick in the teeth to the party, political, and media establishment. At this point, I’ll gladly take either.
