How is it even possible that a law requiring that a drug be used in such a way that is MORE and LESS effective than the current standards is allowed. Is than not against medical standards and is it even possible for the state to defend endangering women in a federal court by REQUIRING misuse of such drugs? Are doctors not free to properly inform their patients without lying? Wouldn’t that be a violation of at least the first amendment — a government requiring speech that is untruthful and taking away the freedom of the physician to inform their patients with the latest information they have determined to be accurate? Is it correct for the government to require a harsher treatment than is needed for a medical procedure? Makes no sense.
