I really enjoyed this piece. As a therapist I often see people who think of themselves in monolithic identities. Just thoughts like, “I am an alcoholic.” It works from the higher power perspective, but ultimately, we are more than the sum of our thoughts. But, like the thought below, we can live as though we are our (often negative and judgmental) thoughts. Thank you.
