Great piece! Also, when I hear tech-centric media companies say what’s “impractical” to do — I hear “too expensive.” Since tech companies spend 1/10 on labor what non-tech companies do, and reap hitherto unimaginable profits, I find this the weakest defense! (wishing once again that more journalists understood a bit more about Business and Econ…)
