LNCT holds orientation for batches’15, holds seminar with Ketan Bhagat

Lakshmi Narayan College of Technology and Science along with Lakshmi Narayan College of Technology, Excellence are all set to begin the new class of 2015 with their orientation programmes scheduled for 17th of August. LNCT colleges believe in an interactive academic environment and to instill this in their students from the very start, the colleges hold interactive orientations for students to promote a healthy communication between them and their professors.

The orientation will be held in two shifts, divided for the varied courses colleges offer. The first shift would run from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm for the students of CSE, EC, EI and IT. The second shift would run from 2 pm to 5 pm for the students of ME, CE, EE, EX and Chemical.

LNCT’s interactive academic model does not stop at this. The colleges hold various workshops for its students every some time. The recent one in news is the workshop with the world renowned motivational speaker and best-selling author Ketan Bhagat, brother of author Chetan Bhagat who has had many best-sellers.

Ketan Bhagat emphasized on the importance of purity and innocence in a student’s life. With the ravages of time in a post-lapsarian world, these usually get lost. Students showed great enthusiasm towards the workshop and felt really motivated after the session. LNCT organized this seminar by the renowned speaker in collaboration with CII and Young India.

Such a personal-growth-oriented model of education which has been adopted by LNCT is what is needed today. A right approach to academics is very important to lead the future of our country. Only few colleges like LNCT are taking steps in this direction and are doing it commendably.
