RadioShack Teams Up With HobbyTown, Giving It The Boost It Needs To Survive

RadioShack, which began its operations in 1921 Boston, has become a worldwide lead and go-to-retailer for electronics. RadioShack’s slogan “You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers” has ensured consumers that they understand electronics and technology.

Today, the company has been putting its efforts on its more than 400 dealer locations and e-commerce platform. RadioShack recently announced it was teaming up with HobbyTown to offer RadioShack branded products to more than 60 HobbyTown locations around the nation.

If successful, the RadioShack Express idea of a “store-within-a-store” will be offered to more than 100 HobbyTown locations.

HobbyTown, which was founded in 1985, has one of the largest footprints of any toy and hobby retail stores, priding itself on offering STEM products and specialty toys.

RadioShacks, the well-known consumer electronics companies and leader in innovative technology products and services and personal/home technology products, has more than 400 neighborhood dealer stores throughout the U.S. Consumers can check out to find a store near them.

The HobbyTown/RadioShack partnership will ensure RadioShack is brought back to the suburban markets.
