We are actively seeking out an experienced backend developer for a leading role who we can build a team around, with languages of MVC Framework primary language of PHP with some Cake PHP / Java, using MySQL databases and Python .

Do you have experience with complex web platforms?
We are looking for somebody experienced, who worked on complex web applications. You should have understanding of web protocols, understanding of full stack development.

Can you cope with a project owner/leader role?
We don’t want to tell you what to do. It’s you who should have the experience to tell us how to do it! The ability to plan IT projects is highly appreciated. You should be able to keep the big picture and look at the project also from the business point of view. When you see a problem do you immediately see possible solutions? Then you are a solution-oriented person, exactly what we are looking for!

Requirements

  • A highly motivated person
  • Expertise in designing complex IT systems
  • Expertise in IT project management
  • Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL etc.
  • MVC Framework
  • Strong understanding of software architecture
  • Understanding of how to scale applications
  • Analytical, independent, organized, great time management and drive

Beneficial

  • Interested in hardware engineering knowledge highly beneficial but not essential
  • Interested in BLE, wireless technologies or indoor location highly beneficial but not essential
  • Servers, Mobile Apps, Predictive Analytics development highly beneficial but not essential
