Paris’ 14th arrondissement is atypical and loved for that same reason. This neighborhood of Paris is original, different and unpredictable. In other words, there is no specific way to define how the 14th arrondissement is, it doesn’t enter in any kind of category.

This arrondissement covers four administrative neighborhood: Montparnasse, Parc-de-Montsouris, Petit-Montrouge and Plaisance.

If you feel like having a picnic then prepare your meals, take the line 13 of the metro and get down at station Pernety.

For those who enjoy bigger gardens with lakes and peaceful atmospheres, then the park Montsouris is exactly what you’re looking for. This beautiful emerald scenery covers more than 15,5 hectars where you can see statues, many species of birds, different types of trees and the “Chemin de fer de Petite Ceinture” (little belt railway). This enchanting place is located in 2 Rue Gazan, 75014 Paris and opens everyday from 7 am to 8.30 pm.
