The “Musée de la vie romantique” is dedicated to the Romanticism artistic era. More than a museum, it’s a beautiful story impregnating the premises which makes all the difference and turns the former Ary Scheffer’s house into a must-see of the 9th arrondissement.

Some people also spend the afternoon enjoying a cup of tea surrounded by the garden’s colorful scenery. Romantic, indeed.

The Musée Grévin gathers the celebrities’ wax statues in this original museum inaugurated in 1882. The idea came from a french journalist, Arthur Meyer, who really wanted its readers to identify the faces of the people he was talking about in his paper.
