Could you share your thoughts on when exactly the bubble of Big Data burst? What was the sign? I still see a huge bubble of it now.

In general, I think every sentence of this article is correct. But as a whole, it has a somewhat uninteresting perspective and is grabbing eyeballs by blasting the AI hype knowing that the AI hype attracts eyeballs.

There’s always hype when something impactful emerges from science and technology. The general public does not have any expertise in AI and got misled by famous people who don’t understand AI. But hype or not, machine learning is there doing its thing for the transformation of society. This fact is unaffected by any hype or media drama because the work is being done by experts in machine learning who are making solid progress instead of bragging in the media.

Machine learning is gradually transforming a lot of disciplines and it is just a beginning. Let’s stop paying attention to the ignorant media and public, stop grabbing attention by talking extremes about it, and do some solid work in the transition into a more automated world.
