Gulf Air appoints Vincent Coste as CCO

Vincent Coste, Chief Commercial Officer, Gulf Air

Sep 06, 2018: Vincent Coste has been named as the new Chief Commercial Officer of Gulf Air, based in Bahrain. The ex-Kenyan Airways commercial director has resigned from the airline with immediate effect.

Coste has joined Kenya Airways in 2016 from a previous position as senior vice president at Qatar Airways but has served prior to that for several years in senior positions at Air France-KLM.

His joining with Gulf Air also confirms that he left Kenya Airways on his own accord, opting out of his contract to join greener pastures as the Kenyan national airline continues to struggle under continued high debt and — following the recent announcement of another loss of more than 4 billion Kenya shillings.
