These fortresses of plastic in the markets of Vietnam are fascinating. Not a place to be if you’re claustrophobic.

Surely the great Pacific garbage patch looks something like this, but more.

These photos are part of a series of daily projects about everyday life, shot over the few easy days I had after cycling the Ho Chi Minh trail. The others are about the beach, people eating food, and thigh candy.

Update: I hardly take photos anymore, but I’m keeping this up to remind myself that even as I focus on other things for now, being outside is important.
