3 steps into the future
Planning… consistency… success … self-realization.
Lately, I’ve finished a huge life project and started searing for the new goal. It took me almost 4 months to understand :
The main goal of my life is to fully realize my potential in everything that comes on my way.
However, my worst problem, as well as my greatest opportunity, was to find out that the goals achieving systems I used will not work in this case. That’s why I’ve created my own, and it is called 3SIF.
Let’s go on.
3 steps into the future (3SIF)
1. Define spheres.
Spheres are areas of your life you want to work on. Your Basement
E: I will share with you my spheres. They are Health, Languages and Skills.
Spheres could be Relationship, Work, Study, Dreams, New House and so on. You can choose long-term or short-term — doesn’t matter here. Pick 3 most important.
2. Divide spheres into sections.
Sections are particularistic. Your materials. Each sphere should be divided into 3 or fewer sections, not more.
E: My 3 most important spheres have no more than 3 sections in each.
Health
- Nutrition ( food, water)
- Exercising (yoga, fitness)
- Rest ( sleeping hours, self-care)
Languages
- English(vocabulary, grammar, practice)
- Spanish (vocabulary, courses, homework)
- Korean (vocabulary, TTMIK)
Skills
- Writing ( Medium)
- Drawing ( Draw sth daily)
- Positive Thinking ( keep being positive)
3. Write tasks
Tasks are things you do every day to achieve more in those spheres. Building your house.
♦ How to write your daily plan?♦
- Set wake up /going to bedtime! Important. ( Adjust it for yourself)
In general, the best time to wake up is between 4– 6:30 am. ( going to bed should be between 10 and 11:30 pm). But, adjust it to your body and your schedule. If you work at night, try to find your ideal sleeping hours.
It will be better if you wake up at this time day by day. However, everything is personal, don’t overestimate your body. Start slowly by waking up a half an hour earlier and then increase this time if needed.
It is incredibly crucial waking up with your alarm clock. DO NOT DELAY. Your productivity will decrease by 70–90% because you have already started your day from loosing. Start like a winner.
- For each section find 2–3 resources you will work with.
Resources are courses, books, programs, websites you are going to use to get the ball rolling. Choose 2–3 to work with.
E: I use the definite website to learn English ( only this one), I have individual Spanish lessons, but also learn words in one specific app. I visit the same gym and have a scheduled programme.
Whatever it is for you, pick 1–3 resources.
- Plan your time.
The night before,
- Write down scheduled events, courses, meetings. Count how much time do you have to adapt your new 3SIF.
- Write 1 section and clear steps to take.
E: Wrong- English :
(1) learn words, (2) learn new grammar, (3) find some course.
Right- English: ( estimated time — 1 hour) /real-time -…
(1) learn 15 new words on (name) website on (this) topic. (2) learn Present Perfect Passive from (this) book and do 5 exercises from (that) website. ( 3) Go to (this) website and write to 5 people who speak English.
Your brain doesn’t like generalized tasks, it likes specific ones that you can start working with immediately without any other research.
Do you see the difference? I hope so. Moreover, draw little squares next to each task and fill them up with a tick or something when you are done)
3. The power is in the small steps — Do not overestimate yourself.
Do little progress each day and be able to stop.
E: You wanted to do 15 sit-ups. You did 15 and it’s easy to do more. BUT NO. Stop here. Why? Because tomorrow it will be as easy for you to make 20. In a month 50 sit-ups will be nothing for you. You will feel that your body gets used to making some progress.
Take it slowly, but consistently. You will get significant results.
You will not climb a huge mountain in a day. Instead, start with low hills. Everything takes time.
You need to pay first to get anything you desire.
You choose if you win this game of life or lose. Why not win?
How to start?
- Create your 3SIF ( 15–60 min)
- Put some time limit ( a week, a year, 50 days ) and you will work on it 1/5/10 hours a day 2/7 days a week or every day.
- Write down 3–5 simple tasks for tomorrow and make sure you have done each one.
- Increase that number smoothly.
- Keep your promise to yourself to not to give up.
- Luck, Success, Experience, Happiness, Fulfilment will come.
So, put in your time, energy, effort. Make a decision to consistently fulfil your Plan. Be happy to grow each day.
Start over again,
Your path spangled with tortures,
