LET’S TALK about blockchain

A blockchain platform allows users and developers to create novel uses on top of an existing blockchain infrastructure. One example is Ethereum, which has a native cryptocurrency known as ether (ETH). But the Ethereum blockchain also allows the creation of smart contracts and programmable tokens used in initial coin offerings (ICOs), and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
These are all built up around the Ethereum infrastructure and secured by nodes on the Ethereum network.
Blockchain technology was first outlined in 1991 by Stuart Haber and W. Scott Stornetta, two mathematicians who wanted to implement a system where document timestamps could not be tampered with. In the late 1990s, Cypherpunk Nick Szabo proposed using a blockchain to secure a digital payments system, known as bit gold (which was never implemented).
A blockchain is a type of distributed database or ledger — one of today’s top tech trends — which means the power to update a blockchain is distributed between the nodes, or participants, of a public or private computer network. This is known as distributed ledger technology, or DLT.
There are four main types of blockchain networks: public blockchains, private blockchains, consortium blockchains and hybrid blockchains.
Blockchain increases trust, security, transparency, and the traceability of data shared across a business network — and delivers cost savings with new efficiencies. Blockchain for business uses a shared and immutable ledger that can only be accessed by members with permission.
Is blockchain the future?
Clearly, the Future Lies with Blockchain Technology
As you can see, blockchain technology is poised to take over the way we work. Why not secure your future in the industry of your choice by becoming an expert in blockchain now?
Bitcoin and Ethereum are popular examples of blockchains. Everyone is allowed to connect to the blockchain and transact on them.
