Black Mirror

Let us pray that one day we will wake up, look away from the “black mirror” that provides us with our empty comfort.

The digital era has done nothing but mask our fears of what it in turn, is actually, causing: a companionless society.

With so many options & selection we lack the ability to experience true connection with individuals, and get distracted by having “more”

Because “more” is better than “one”. Because being successful is having “a lot”.

Society is saturated with the ideas of more, “the bigger, the better”.

Big egos, bank accounts, multiple lovers- the conquest but not the reward.

And when you finally “settle” you are settling because when you were having “more” you were blind to the “one”

In the end it’s just me and my shadow, a piece of glass, electronic.

A superficial world, a man made dimension.

Lost loves, and broken hearts with infinite numbness, no relation.

It’s just me and my shadow, in this greedy, superficial-society fixation .
