She Told Me You Don’t Deserve Me

…and with that said, we’ll never have an outstanding relationship with each other when your natural reaction to our disputes is to go run your mouth to your friends about the sh-t we bump heads on. How the hell do you think we can have anything when all of our business is given away to those friends of yours? Do you really think and believe your friends give you advise from a neutral position? Do you think your friends are giving you honest advise? Are they the type of friends who’ll call you on your bullshit?

You really undermine everything that is sacred to just two people. I’m completely aware of the things you lie about. Why are you out in the world telling your friends lies about me and how horribly I treat you? Don’t your friends understand that no matter how flat you make a pancake, its still got two sides?

Why do you speak of me the way you do? I mean, one minute I’m this and that, and then when it’s a good look for you, I’m the best thing ever. Did you know your friend Layna saw me at the grocery store and told me everything you say about me. I’m not going to share with you the details because you already know what she told me; word for word.

You deserve nothing about me, says your friend Layna. She wasn’t approaching me on some ‘keep a secret’ behavior, but she was telling me that you don’t deserve me. This is something I’ve realized for a while now, and now I’m realizing that you are who you are always going to be. No amount of growth and understanding will reshape the direction of your behavior.

Our relationship isn’t such. I think it is actually time for us to go different ways. Maybe I should see how Layna is doing and confide in her to the magnitude of your disrespect for me. When you get home from your vacation, we should talk about an exit strategy.
