“Right wing talking points?”

Actually, I was a Sanders supporter. I have no false illusions about Hillary. But I don’t buy into absolutes. So please stop trying to call Hillary the most corrupt politician ever.

The facts show how much damage those past presidents did to the country. Then you’ve got the Congressmen and Governors who have been tried and convicted of crimes.

And to your idea about getting judged differently depending on who you are, just look up the definition:

False equivalence is a logical fallacy which describes a situation where there is a logical and apparent equivalence, but when in fact there is none. This fallacy is categorized as a fallacy of inconsistency.

In 2000, the claim that the two parties were the same is a false equivalency.

Bush and Cheney ignored the warnings of the outgoing head of the NSA about Osama bin Laden, then lied to get us to support the invasion of Iraq, even though Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. Because of his family’s long time ties to Saudi oil, they didn’t question on bin Laden family member as they were the only ones to get on a plane in the aftermath of 9/11.

A President Gore would never have authorized torture, illegal wiretaps, invading Iraq, ignoring Osama bin Laden, etc. Nor would he have gone on an aircraft carrier pretending to be a pilot and declaring “mission accomplished,” while egging on the terrorists to “bring ’em on.”
