Has anyone reading these comments (along with the ones attacking Clinton supporters) stopped to think about the underlying message?

Pay attention to the words contained in these attacks: “economics”, “socialism”, “leave the politics to someone who’s educated”, “your generation,” “stay out of politics,” “puppet politicians,” etc.

This is not coming from the Clinton camp. These are the hateful rants of right wing a$$holes who will do anything to suppress voting and discourage women from making their voice heard.

Given the almost invisible sample size of “Bernie Bro” insults, I believe this is merely right wing subterfuge.

Think about who has the most to gain from driving a wedge between women voters above and below 40.

If Hillary wins the nomination and all the young people refuse to vote, we get President Trump (or worse). If Bernie wins the nomination and Clinton supporters are not all in to get him elected, we get the same horrible result.

As bad as these messages are, feminist anger needs to be channeled into working to end the misogynistic domination of Congress and state governments by the Republican party.

Nothing is going to move forward (equal pay, maternity leave, expanding women’s health programs and health insurance coverage, and the protection of a woman’s right to choose) unless the Democrats win back control of Congress in addition to winning the White House (whether its Clinton or Sanders).

Just remember the bigger picture. This is the first year that millennials outnumber boomers. As demographics continue to change, the Republican party will continue losing its base as older white conservative voters die off.

Their only strategy moving forward is to take away the vote from as many young people and minorities as possible.

This may be the GOP’s last chance to grab complete control of the government. If they win, they will ruthlessly push through the most reactionary agenda in this country’s history. If you thought W was bad, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
