Sorry, you are a little off here. In the 2004 primaries, Ralph Nader was quoting Eisenhower in his campaign speeches.
Eisenhower’s stance on the military-industrial complex and integration were progressive. He enforced the desegregation of public schools and pushed through a bill that opened the doors for the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
