@Sonia — I think its because a lot of companies advertise for ‘hybrids’ which means they hire someone to do everything from research, testing, usability studies, interaction, branding, design theory, production and product requirements whose probably great at a few of these but not so great with design but they think they’re saving money by getting one person to do everything.
